This month is a bit different. We will have our normal worship service at 10:00 AM, followed by a potluck. After the potluck, those who are interested will head out to do trail clean-up.
Our Service Sundays are opportunities for us to go out and serve our community as a congregation. For those who have yet to participate in a missional community, this is your chance to "get a taste" for what we are about. This will all take place on Sunday at 10:00 AM in place of our regular worship service.
We are participating in the City of Stanwood's "Adopt-A-Street" program. We have adopted the section that includes some of the walking trails in city parks and other areas. This will be one project option (there will be others). If you would like to participate in the adopt-a-street program bring gloves and warm outdoor clothing.
If you would prefer bless our community in another way, consider going out to a local coffee shop or restaurant. Pay for someone's coffee or food, strike up a conversation with someone who is alone, or pray for those in the space with you.
If you are unable to go out and serve consider staying at the church building, greeting any visitors that may show up while we are out, and helping set up for the potluck to follow. Contact Pastor Brandon with any questions.
